How 01 began

2011

More than ten years ago, in Skalica, the hometown of our CEO Roman Kučera, the idea to start a company was born. The vision was to bring step-by-step technology solutions to the worlds of FinTech, HealthTech, Crypto and Blockchain.

2016

Bratislava became our headquarters. We won new clients, delivered successful solutions and step by step grew from 0 to 1.
You'll find us in a spacious open-space office with a view over the whole city.

2017

New, innovative projects took us beyond Slovakia's borders: to the Middle East, Southeast Asia and the USA. We gained extensive experience in financial technologies and cryptocurrencies.

2022

We are a software house. One company covering it all: web design, IT development, integrations, digital security, business strategy, consulting, marketing and much more.

2026

AI-first transformation. We now build products, platforms and information architectures with AI at the core of how we design, develop and deliver.

I'm Roman Kučera. Years ago, I had an idea. I've been close to technology since I was a kid.

I decided to open my working world to IT topics that would one day shape the future, connecting information technology with the worlds of finance and health.

At first, I worked with a small team of friends. Over time, the team grew and my dream started to become reality.

It's 2026. 01People is an autonomous, technologically mature company, and I can focus on global business from Dubai, one of the world's leading business hubs.
